Price differences @ Dealerships

I am amazed at the price differences when buying parts at my local nissan dealerships. There are 2 Nissan dealerships in my town.

I had to buy a door handle trim piece. Dealership #1 wanted $16.50. I asked "are you sure that price isn't for both doors"? The parts guy said "no, 1 piece".
I called dealership #2 and they wanted $8 for the SAME piece. 100% price difference. Nice.

I called again recently looking to get a spare key since mine has the computer chip. This time dealership #2 was way more expensive. They wanted $120 for the blank and then another $60 to program it. $180 for a key!!??
Dealership #1 wants $45 for BOTH the blank and the programming.

I am curious if anyone else that has two or more Nissan dealerships in their town has the same price differences when looking for specific Nissan parts? Is this common?

One of the Nissan Stealerships in my town charges ~20-30% or more higher than Nissan list on the parts I have asked for prices on

The other dealership is a little more reasonable but still over Nissan list sometimes , the crankshaft oil seal (for UDP install) cost me 9.xx, Nissan list is 6.52

Even with shipping charges this site is usually much cheaper -- http://www.nissan-auto-parts-dealer.com/
