hello everyone....I have recently begun having a problem with my thermostat. When I drive for only very short distances, my temp gauge goes way up, to the second line on the gauge...this has happened twice before, so it is intermittant because once ws a while ago, and the 2nd time was today....anyway, i only drive like 2 miles to work, and in that time, the gauge goes all of the way up...by the way, it was no more than 50 degrees today, so its not like it was a hot day...also, I have never put coolant in the engine, as I have always assumed it was done my the mechanic every 10k miles checkup....also, I just had the 90k mile checkup....now I am at work so I havent had a chance to check the collant level, but assuming it is good to go, what else could be wrong? thank for any info!
