Redline MT-90
Hey guys, I can't find the Redline manual tranny oil anywhere! Well, I only looked in 2 places, but that's all I have here. I looked for the Amsoil stuff too. The only synthetic oil I could find was some Mobil 1 stuff. How is this compared to Redline/Amsoil? I need 80W-90 that is at least GL-5 rated, right?
Also, what is the best kind of motor oil for my car? I have almost 80k miles.....
Thanks!
Shawn

The MT-90 is perfect for what you need, GL-5 shouldn't be used for transmissions that require GL-4 because of the additive package that can make for harsher engagement.

If you want Redline, call Summit Racing and ask for it.
1-800-230-3030
They keep it in stock. It ships VERY quick. It comes from Ohio. I live in West Virginia, and it gets here the NEXT DAY via UPS if I order it in the morning. Yes, that is regular ground UPS.

Good Luck!

You can also try www.myoilshop.com, its $7/quart, thats the best price ive been able to find... there was a coupon code out there too that gave 10% off, but I dont know where I found it.

Yes. If you decide to go with Redline, just buy the MT-90 and you won't have to think about anything else.

Amsoil's Series 2000 75W-90 is the best gear oil for applications where the car is worked hard and is the one I use and recommend. It's $7.56/quart. There are also 2 other gear oils available for consideration as well if the Series 2000 is too much overkill for your needs.
Redline ATF for the Max would be the D4 ATF.
