painting my max blue

So i got into a small accident and i have quite a few nicks on my car and i also want to get a body kit, so i think iam going to get my car repainted. Right now its superblack, which ithink is the best looking color for teh max, but i live in south louisiana where in rains almost everyday in the summer and its a pain to keep my car clean. I also like the way the blue max's i see on here look, Just wondering what is the color that ppl have used and about how much am i looking at for a new paint job for my car. If not blue i was thinking the red color that some of the se-l where painted.

I understand about the black being hard to keep clean, but (and I could very well be wrong) I think it costs a lot more to repaint a different color, then to repaint the same color. So if you like that black, it may not be worth it to pay extra to go to a different color just cause it looks cleaner.

If i paint it a different color i will definately get it done right, I was kinda wondering the difference in the prices of painting it the same color or a different color. I'm gonna check out some shops and see what they say.
Oh and i never even thought of the nickname issue.

a proper change of color will cost most likely at least twice the price of a regular paint job.

Think of the work involved, the number of parts that will need to be stripped and areas that will need to be prepped to be painted.. then painted...

it's a serious job.

I am not a big fan of the sage mist green color of my car. I'd be happy with a black or a blue.. but the cost of a good job won't complete my happiness

You're looking at probably at the very least 3 grand.., but upwards of 5..

screw that.

The maximus75 guy destroyed the max. Thats why the 4th gen is greater than the n00b ****. The trunk is flush and the bumper is the home of the license plate. my opinion noted anyway. Other than that damn thats ill.

Hope this helps

A complete and well done color change cost between $1200 and $1500. I had my Max painted Lexus Blue (Stardust Blue). My friend Painted his Civic ANGEL BLUE...which is what I really wanted. There's like a hundred different blues to choose from so choose very very very very carefully. The best thing to do is find a car with the factory color you want and look it up in the Color Book the shop gives you to choose from.
