Hi guys, This summer I was planning on working my **** off (high school student). I was then going to sell my 95 Automatic Maxima..with less than 90k on it..or about 90k. I was thinking of selling it at $7000, it has remote start, all the options, leather, sunroof, spoiler, bose. I putin a custom exhaust catback that I would keep in there but I would take out my intake. I was then going to sell this car and buy a 5spd Max hopefully a 95 or 96. The only question here is recently I took some damage to my hood. Basically I can't repair it and the only way to fix it was to get a complete new one. I was wondering how much I should subtract from the price I'm going to sell the car for to componsate for the hood

where are you selling it? online? in person? If it were me I would look online to see how much they cost used and just ask the buyer what he thinks sounds reasonable. Knowing the cost of another hood and what hes offering will help you judge whats a fair price.

 

I went to get an estimet today and they said it would be best to just replace the hood. I mean if were talking about CF hood thats about 500$. The estimate they gave me was ordering a new hood, painting, and installing for about 700$. Before the minor damage on the hood I was thinking I could get 6500-7500 for my max. but dunno now. My plan is to work this summer and pay my parents back what I borrowed and then see what I got. All I can do is wait =(
