Ok now that Im starting to get some more info on these cars I would like to see some modded maximas.

Anybody got a maixima lowered? How low can a maxima be lowered with the stock wheels?what camber kits are available?

Exhaust, Intakes, headers etc....What kinda power gains do yall see with these? What kinda prices do yall pay?Anybody here have a carbon fiber hood on a 4G?

Anything yall got postem up.

Thanks, PB

BTW are there any cars in the Nissan family that have parts that will fit the 4G (like wheels engine parts etc...)

Click the link in my sig for some 'just okay' pics of my car and a recent meet.

Aside from coilovers (~$1400) springs from Eibach, H&R, Intrax, etc. will lower the car up to 1.5" or more. These should be combined with aftermarket shocks/struts (e.g. Tokico) since the stock struts will wear faster with a/m springs.

The intake of choice (other than a SC) is a cold-air intake (CAI) either a/m or home-made.

A ypipe upgrade from Stillen or Cattmann is also popular and many consider it to be the best power mod for the money.

I can't speak to recent pricing since I've had my stuff more than a year now. Also, hp ratings are impacted by the SC so your car's benefits from exhaust mods will also differ from mine.

Can someone else comment on current pricing and hp gains for an NA Max?

Why would anyone want to lower, modify, change color or in anyway want to ATTRACT ATTENTION to their Maxima? hehe

Why attract attention?

The real fun thing is to be a "sleeper". People would expect you to give them a good run when they see tons of exterior modifications (big wing, body kit, clear tails). That just screams "I'm different and I may have performance!" Leave your Maxima looking stock while blowing doors off really gives people something to think about. By looking at my car you would probably never know that it is high powered- Maybe a corner carver with the cross drilled rotors and 17" wheels but that's it. Everything is subtle and doesn't cry out to be noticed.

You can lower your Maxima I think up to 2 inches with Sprint springs and use a Stillen camber kit. That or you could go with a set of Cattman coilovers that have a camber kit built into them.

Mods are too much to list. Power gains are significant with the SC and the VB upgrade. I am pushing around 320hp at the crank (255hp at the wheels). Only way you can tell is if you hear me coming up on you when I'm dropping out of boost. Dang SC whine, but I love it so!

Check my page for more details on my car if you like.
