Optimal 18 inch tire size

Is the optimal tire size for 18 X 8 inches rims 235/40/18 or 235/45/18, or 245/40/18 or 245/45/18?

Also can some post the optimal 3ize for 19's. I wish I could search. It would be a lot easier.

its 235/40/r18 and 235/30/r19.......... those are the optimal tire sizes.......

I don't know where you are looking, but I have never heard or seen anyone running a 235/30/19. I run 235/35/19, and that is what I am recommending. You are correct on the 18 inch size, though.
