If it's the CV joint, you'll only hear it while your moving.
Test:
In a parking lot, turn your wheel all the way to the left and do slow (5-15) circles, do you hear a repeating clicking sound? That's usually the sign of a bad CV joint.
While in park, or not moving, turn you wheel to the extreme left and right. If you hear the noise now, then it's either your strut mount or spring noise. Did you use some kind of wrap or sleeves on your springs?
