heres the deal, I believe my Striking rod is bent so my options is either buy one and do it myself or have the dealer do it. Does anyone happen to have a spare 4th gen tranny laying around and willing to sell me their striking rod? just incase you dont know what part im talking about- striking rod is the rod that goes in and out of the tranny and is directly connected to the shift linkage and its covered by that rubber accordian tube.

nope, this is the rod that controls the shift forks inside the tranny.
