Squeeling sound at starting

I know this has been asked a lot of times but I would like to have a simple answer. When I start my car, there's a squeeling sound that seems to be coming from the driver side of the engine so it isn't probably the belts and I heard that if it's on the driver side, it could be the starter. If thats the problem, is that a DIY job? and is there any more reason why the car could sound like this?

Starter is a DIY job, but I never heard a starter squeel

That squeeling sound is typical of a loose or worn belt. Highly doubt it's the starter and the most common belt in question is the Alternator belt.

Usually it takes nothing more than just tightening the belt up. Don't replace it if it's not necessary.

belts

i had the same problem before and after changing the belts. It may not necessarily be the belt itself that is worn out, you have to make sure whoever changes it for you TIGHTENS the belts correctly whether it's the alternator crank belt or AC etc... Check to make sure they are as tight as possible and the squeeling will go away

I heard that tighting the belts too much will lead to a leak. I dunno where but a leak...

Since the squeeling sound comes from the right, do I have to do everything where they say top, bottom , left middle? what are these? I'm a little confused with what they say.
