I have the Stillen muffler with a resonated b-pipe and it isn't that loud. If you eliminate the resonator, then yeah, it will be loud.

To rice or not to rice...

I am going to buy a Budget Y-Pipe as soon as I can get a hold of someone at Budget BUT now I want a muffler that will flex my new HP a little. I don't want the "Bee's in the Can" that the civic kids all have hard-on's over. I want a good growl without the drowning hum on the highways. Any Suggestions!?

- No Offense to "Civic Kids".

I checked out your sound files - I like the sound of your Magnaflow.
And that "silly Car" on the bridge and the laughter is priceless

borla pro XS or XL muffler. get the longest muffler body you can find from them. personally i have the XS. if you keep the stock or aftermarket catylist i'm sure you'll be happy. it's a nice low idle and distinct V6 note at part throttle. totally silent at highway speeds. of course, removing the catylist will make it a hint louder down low, with more crackling sounds off throttle. don't forget to find stainless welding wire otherwise your welds will start to rust like mine.

I really liked the MagnaFlow Street Series video clips I am just worried about the dronning hum while on the highway, can anyone help me here? Is it alot louder than stock at highway speeds, I loved it at WOT just dont know if i can handle it while cruising at 80.

I've got the Apexi and I love it. Without a y-pipe, you can't even tell that you have a performance muffler. But when you get a y-pipe, it really opens it up. It sounds low and powerful, similar to a previous generation M5. It's expensive but it's worth the price.
