Could you please read me the part number off of the piece? It should be imprinted in the rubber right underneath the bumpstop.. says something to the effect of NA103 or NA108.
Thanks,
-Cyrus

IIRC, the part numbers are SB103 and SB108.

I ordered my boots from Tirerack. I ordered front boots from a '95 Mustang and rear boots from a '95 Miata. The part numbers are the same.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Thanks for the reply Nick! Mine are NA103 and NA108 so I'm would think they work fine. The only problem is that the rear boots' bumpstop seems to have a little too small of a hole to fit the strut. The opening is big but it gets smaller.
Thanks,
-Cyrus

Yes. I'll take a picture and post them later today. By the way the spring wrap you recommended worked miracles, not a creak from the springs all day.

Notice how there is a smaller ring within the bumpstop? That leads me to believe they will not fit a Maxima. I'm pretty sure the strut's shaft is larger than that hole.

That is how mine looked. It slides on top of the piston shaft just fine. Mine looked exactly like that and it was the right part.

I go tmine from advanced auto. I posted the part numbers and the way to order them just a few days ago. I will post a link to the thread in a few minutes. Mine were boxed as "TRW" brand parts, but I compared them to the KYBs at the lowering meet and they were 100% identical right down to the stampings. They are just repackaged. Actually, it looked like KYB buys TRW parts and repackages them as KYB. Either way, they are identical.

I bought mine brand new in the For Sale section. You're not going to save more than $5 that way, so you might as well order them from TireRack.com.

Patrick thanks for the information, it now seems like they will fit. I'm going to try installing them today.
Thanks again,
-Cyrus

Not trying to be a smart@$$, but this has been covered a dozen times in the last 2 weeks. Just page-back n the 4th gen forum and you will find tons of info.

The quick version- I replaced my strut bearings and bustboots @ 77K. That was it. You can spend hundreds of dollars to be sure that all is well, or you can risk re-using the old stuff. I would do the bearings and dustboots @ 39K. All of your rubber parts are most likely in good shape.
