Rusty Rotor

I just put my new slotted, cross drilled rotors on last week. They are rusty already, everywhere the brake pads do not touch? Is this normal? How can I clean it off?

Yes its normal. Don't try to clean it off with any solvents or you'll have problems braking. Maybe brake cleaner, but be careful not to get it on any of the frictional surfaces.
