I need to pull a code (car starts very badly, runs rich, horrible mileage 200 per full tank) , chk engine comes on randomly, and on accessories it comes off. Wondering If i can pull a code while car is on, and chk eng light is on because it shuts off at turn of key right before start.

Code 0215?? -- 84 bucks for the vent control valve and installation. I just got mine done last week.

 

Eclypsecl got the same code I did....... Code is 10 08..... Evap Canister Purge Volume Control Valve...... the Vent Control Valve is also a part of the emission system, but just a different part..... Does anyone have any info on the Purge Volume Control Valve? What does it look like? I know where to look for alot og the EVAP parts on the car (under the car beside the driver side rear wheel) ......

The Evap Canister Purge flow control valve is under the hood. Right on top, just towards the rear of the manifold. It's brownish color on one end ( the end with the 6-pronged plug.
