I just dropped almost 6k in MOds!!!!

Well my max is going to become a rocket. I purchased the V2 kit from Stillen, also apex el2 guages, autometer boost guage, 3.12 pulley, greddy type s bov, SSR competition 11.3 lb 16 inch wheels, with competition race tires.. I need to buy a belt, and a Act clutch next!!!! I should have the fastest max in MN!!

Umm... Well actually I work like 50 hours a week, and I live in the boonies in a town of 550... Maybe it is a suburb of willmar

good luck with that...you are going to need some driving practice though...even with a SC if you cant drive it wont matter....

im looking at your 9.7...some have done 9.3 (and maybe better than that??????

Congrats on the new mods. By the way, there is on bigger money pitt on this planet other than a girlfriend. If I didn't have one, my Max will be boosted too.

must be loaded - bought the V2 from Stealin...
instead of the better priced alternatives like avalonracing...

Or he may not be including all the details. I bought a V2 kit from avalon, but when people ask, I just say I bought the Stillen V2 kit...usually not worth explaining that I bought it through another dealer.

I know I think I should be able to run quicker. I usually get 2.2-2.3 60ft, I shift as fast and hard as the car can be shifted, my trap speed isnt too bad.. I will blame it on the track. I am pretty sure it is over 1000'ft elevation. With my gtech I could consistintly pull 6.1-6.3 0-60 times, 14.7-14.8 1/4. That is with my stock wheels/tires, with my 17's it seems to add .2 secs.. But with my new 16's..

The tires I bought with my wheels:
225/50WR-16 Kumho Ecsta V700 Heat Cycled

I didnt want to go with a straight drag tire, becuase I didnt want to drive on that to the track

I understand what your saying about the track being the possibility in why your times arent that great. But I bet you, and Neal will probably agree,(however I dont know what 17s and 16s you have) that the difference in ET with your 17s vs. 16s in not noticeable.
