hey everyone, im really interested in getting a maxima but not sure what to look for. here's what i found so far. can you tell me what trim(gxe,se, gle) it is...

-White/Black leather interior

-Gold Package Trim (lite)....anyone know what the "lite" is?
-CD Player
-Alarm
-Pwr Windows
-Pwr Locks
-Premium Sound
-Airbags
-A/C

Also, anyone know what kind of car's the maxima can beat(in the same arena...not 4 bangers). i used to have an acura legend, it was pretty quick but heavy. kno which ones faster? thanks for the input everyone.

 

Since Fogs aren't listed, I am guessing it is a GXE. . . GLE's are strictly autos and SE's come with fogs. I don't really race my car so I won't try and answer the second part of your question. The 5 spd will have a good 0-60 time, mid to high 6 sec mark if that helps.

 

Are the door handles chrome or body color? If they are chrome, then its GXE if they are body color then its an SE.

 

I have chrome door handles on my GLE. His sounds like an SE w/o fog lights. Do GXE's have a leather option?

 

GXE have leather option for sure. cause i have it. hehe
I'm guessing it's GXE if it has chrome door handle. Only SE come with body color door handles.

 

Say what? A GXE w/leather? I've never seen one of those before. Did you buy your car new and did it list as an option?
Sounds like he has an SE and just didn't list the fogs. I also wonder if "premium sound" means the Bose.
I wanted a white one but settled for the silver.
Stock you can expect 0-60 a little over 7 sec.

Maybe fogs just weren't listed. . . The more I think about it, it does sound more like an SE than a GXE. . . I am not sure if BOSE is avail. in a GXE and I am almost certain leather isn't. . .

 

I believe that's a SE. I think he just forgot to list the fogs. And he also listed a spoiler. Only SE came with a spoiler direct from the factory.

 

A lot of dealers throw on a spoiler because people like the way it looks, so normally I look for other signs of the version. . . I see way too many GXE's and GLE's out here with spoilers to base my opinion strictly on that. . . What we should be asking is does it have White faced gagues? this would be a very good sign in determining what version it is (SE does, GXE doesn't)
