This is an email i got back from TYC on the possibility of projectors for our 4th gens.

"The headlamp is under evaluation. We will get release data once it is
received that we will come out with the lamp. Please sign up for our

Has anyone ever thought about the R32 skyline headlight conversion? Is it really just a bolt in? If not, what changes have to be made?

Why woudl there be a difference between 95-95 and 97-99 headlights besides the glass and plastic? Wouldn't this be a whole new unit?

nope, they just used a "magnified" lens instead of a reflective one like ours. Audi's, BMW's, 2004 Ford Focus', ... ect use projector type lenses. i like them b/c they seem much more focused and intense than what are on our cars. if you still don't know what i'm talking about just go to pep boys and look at their fog lights... there should be several ones that are projection.

OK now i know. They look pretty expensive. The civic set ups were like 250+ for the housing. no other mod's needed though right? stock harness and 9004 bulbs?

the two 4th gen headlights are interchangeable...owning both models...i can tell u that i get better lighting w/ 97-99 headlights then 95-96...but overall they still sux...even my wife's civic had better lighting and i think they use 9004 also...

now if they made these in a one piece version sorta like the 99-01 Honda Accords, id think about buying a set.
or like the Cyfero's, all the same $hit!

oh and these better still be 9004!! cause im not buying another HID system for these, hehe

Someone did a single Cefiro headlight conversion that looked very similar to the R33, this is what I would like, anyone have the link to the thread?

a lot of people on this forum talk a lot of smack about how they want the projectors so bad...stock head lights are about 100 dollars on ebay, can be found for even more at junkyards...

when this set comes out, half the people will complain about pricing....
