Decent run with an s2000

This morning on the way to school, I came up upon an s2000, failry young driver.. mid 20s maybe. Anyways, after passing a few cars we came to a light, both of us basically accelerated moderatly to about 10, and it was on, (we were basically both waiting for each other). The top of his first gear, he pulled about a car length, throughout second he got about another 2 cars on me, and probably another car length during 3rd.. shut it down at around 80 or 90 due to another light coming up. Even though I lost, I feel pretty decent about the race in general, I knew right away that he was going to win but it was all in good fun. Its obvious that straight line acceleration isn't the s2000's strong point but for a 2 seater rwd sports car, it isn't all that fast. It really makes me wish I had a 5spd, I think it would have been quite close. Anyways, from all of this, I realised that exterior mods can wait for now. I just can't imagine how much fun it must be to wipe the smile off those guys faces, you boosted guys should be proud.

Nice try! I appreciate stories without hearing about the driver getting all bent out of shape because they lost to another car.
