One if the easiest is a Front Strut Tower Brace..... Another easy one is the Rear Sway Bar...... Both are great suspension mods that are quick and easy to do

dont forget everyones favorite, clear bumper lights. Also you can make you side parking lights brighter(ones next to your headlights). there is a great website maximadriver.com with an excellent how2 section with step by step pictures, unfortunatly its down right now for who knows how long.

all in all if you can read youll be a pretty formidable mechanic, the only thing that will seperate you from them is tools.

good luck

There are so meny DIY mod instructions out there that you can be a total novice doing things that some people take there cars to shops for.. Our car has some of the easiest mods out there... just browse there the forum and there are alot of links and websites out there to give you the heads up and the forum is very helpful with most everything..

Just look around and see whats out there... the easieast mods are the front strut bar and the rear sway bar and they make a big difference in the way the car handles..

Just make sure you read the FAQs befor posting questions.. alot of answers are in there

Before I bought my Maxima in October last year, I'd never even changed my oil myself on previous cars.

Since then I've installed a FSTB, home made intake, Budget Y Pipe, Air horns, remote keyless entry, switched ECU mod, cleared the tail lights, plus did a 60k service (oil, filter, coolant, fuel filter, PCV, MT fluid, plugs)

With the help of this and other internet forums, you won't be a modding newbie for long.
