jerky automatic shifts when cold

jerky automatic shifts when cold

After a few miles, it shifts very smoothly. Would changing the fluid help? I've had the car for 15K miles, and it hasn't gotten worse. Is this normal?

It's normal. Mine does the same thing. I need to change the fluid though.

Is synthetic tranny fluid any better then regular?

yes


as far as jerking when cold, I had it happen on all auto cars that I've ever had..........
