Engine swap?

Ok I can't search or I would of....I have access to a 2001 engine...at a resonable price...and was wondering if the swap was at all easy and possible? thanks

well my friend is swapping his accour engine with an H22 engine, putting in a 99 accord coup. I would go to the same guy, and he's pretty good on pricing...I havent' even got to that point because I first wanted to know if it is possible.

Anything is possible. Comon. That would not be easy or cheap however.

I don't think anyone here though has done it. I would seriously doubt it'd be worth the effort required.

What's wrong with a used 4th gen motor? That would make more sense....

A 4th gen motor is alomst the same as the 2001, im my opinon i think it would be worth the effort if you can get a good deal on the motor and do the work your self. The motor comes with a VI saving you 500 bucks, and not having to worrie about RPM switch's

The dream is gone...he ended up buying a snashed 2001 and is putting it in there....****...that would of been sweet had I done it...oh well on to plan B...trying to get those R32 headlights installed in my 4th Gen, might order them this week.
