1) Do the 1997-1999 5 spd GXE (the most basic of all models) come with heated seats in the Canadian models? (i asked over at the canadian forum but did not have too much luck with this).

2) Does the 1997-1999 5 spd GXE come with LSD in the canadian models, or is it only the SE?

I would prefer to get a GXE over an SE, but it if it is missing LSD, I would take the SE over it anyday.

Is there any Junk yards I can call in Canada for a LSD tranny? Can anyone help out with posting a number? I have a friend that lives in Toronto, Does the LSD come in all 5 speed SE models?

 

how can we tell if we have LSD or not? is it a abs/lsd package? (and i mean besides layin down some tread on the pavement) :-P

 

I think the only difference between the US and Canadian is the LSD on the SE only.. everything else should be the same. I know the leather has heated seats, which is on the SE (as option) and GLE. not sure about the GXE though...

 

i poked my head in the canadian section and asked them and they told me that only the SE came with LSD.

 

the SE and ES models come with VLSD
they also come with a full sized 5 spoke spare rim/tire.

the way to check is to look at the passenger side firewall.
it should have a code like RSF5XXX something like that
if it ends with a V = VLSD if it ends with an A = open differential
