Which tires

Hi:

Looking to replace my 1999 GLE tires - 45K miles - got a gash in 1 of the wheels. I am in NJ so All Season Radials should be ideal.

Which makes/models do you advise and why?

Regards,

go to www.tirerack.com check out survey's and test on the tires in the range you are looking for. I used tire rack to determine the set of summer tires i bought, i must say that i am extremely happy with my choice and purchase.

Dunlop Sport A2's

Very smooth, Very Quiet, Excellent traction both wet and dry. They'd be great tires for a GLE. A lot of guy on here run them, including myself and will tell ya the same thing. Great tire!

Thanks njmax - the new DUNLOP tires are great. I got them from tirerack.com shipped for $282 and paid $55 to Tuffy's for install/balance/stems/disposal. So all in I spent $337. Compare that to SEARS all-in price of $480.
