OBX Cat back

Is anyone using the OBX Cat back that there is a GD on? Would you recommend it? How loud is it? Would it be worth spending the extra money on an Apexi or Greddy cat back? Anything you could tell me about the OBX would be helpful. Thanks

I have the OBX cat-back. I was able to get it put on yesterday. I think it looks pretty good. It is a bit loud right now. I heard on the board that it gets quieter as time goes by, I hope so. I have a 96 and the cat-back I recieved was for a 97+ so the tip sticks out about 1 1\2 inches off the bumper. I also needed to bend the mounts to get it to fit properly. If any one needs pics let me know I'll post some, I took quite a few.

i was in on the first group deal they had a few months back, this exhaust is real quiet, looks real good. I have a 97 maxima, so it sticks out perfectly. I have pics of the catback on the 6th page of my homepage and here are some pics of it on my car.

^^^ on the last pic shows the b-pipe which hangs down kind of low. Most catbacks have b-pipes that hang low because they can no longer fit in the section of stock b-pipe since they are wider (2.5 vs 2.25) but this one hung a lot lower. I had meineke melt a certain spot where they turned it upwards and now it looks like this which is much better, never had a problem or anything, and you guys might not even have the problem of b-pipe hanging low but just thought i tell u guys the situation i was in when i got it. Still a great catback and if i had to go back again i would definitely get it again, UNLESS i wanted a loud exhaust i would go for something else...

Yep, when I first put it on it was really loud, but after a week or two of drving it the intake started to get louder again and the exhaust toned down. Just give your car time to adjust to the extra air it is getting out.

<<<<----Couple pics of it on my car are on my home page link.

yeah man, i was the dd this weekend and ended up having 9 people in my lowered max. Scrapage all the way home. if youre lowered and are in places with a lot of hills, be careful. i have no regrets on this catback though.

Can someone post a link into the group deal for these OBX catbacks? I can't seem to load the GD page? Much appreciated!

I will try and do a sound/vid clip tomorrow. But it sounds good, and anything done over the web isn't really going to do it justice.
