I woould like to know how to turn off the ses light that is driving me nuts I've already had it diagnosed and I know tht the left module is showwing that it is open I dont have the money too fix it right now do I just reset the ecu thingie as per org. instructions thanx

 

are you out of warranty ? in case you didnt know this is covered under power train warranty 5yr/60k miles

 

well my airbag light is flashing as well but i have no idea how to turn it off. i went to the dealer and they said the airbag system is not covered under warranty. any idea of how to go about this?

man oh man these things are the biggest pain in the butt I had one replaced (under warranty, the left side rear ) and and not even a week later I went from like 59.980 mi to over 60.000 mi and the right side rear goes....sheesh, so a diagnostic test shows that its open or blown ,broken, whatever..... I was ****ed and you are right warranty does not cover it so the stealership tells me that its going to cost around 250.00 to fix. there goes y-pipe and a 100.00 potentially....I looked in the haynes manual and its not looking good....also I heard from one of the members too put key in ignition and turn the car on then off, then on, and the press the door nipple thing that shuts off the interior lights on and off seven times then turn off the car and turn it back on. and the light will go away I tried it and all it does is make the airbag light blink like it throwing off a code 3 long bliks and like 4 short its crazy

 

Man you have to yell at them or something, it is covered under warranty, It happend to me, Tell them to Fu|< off if they dont!
