PIC- what was wrong with my manual tranny

so I noticed this while trying to change my seals out for my conversion. Im supprised this thing still shifted fine


what your looking at is the shift striking rod which supposed to be straight. the pic is alsmost actual size to get an idea of how much force it took to bend that thing
