When the knock sensor retard timing does cel light lights on? Any codes written in the ECU? Cause i feel a kind of power loss sometimes and i think it's my knock. New plugs, air filter, gas filter, tb clean and good gas on.

Yes, the KS can trip the CEL...and should.

I had a bad KS and no CEL. I checked for codes and found that my KS was no good...maybe you should do the same thing.

I had the same experience. The only reason I noticed the code was because the bad O2 sensors set the CEL. After replacing them, the next symptom was a funny sort of [surging] acceleration between 2 and 3K RPMs. No CEL, but the code was there.

right...I've heard of that too -- where there is no CEL, but
there is a KS code...

This is exactly my problem!! Before i replace the rear O2 sensor, i notice a Knock sensor code too. Now my O2 sensor is replace and i feel again the power loss between 2000-3000 rpm. I will order one today! I always think that my power loss can come from my knock and now i'm almost 100% sure. Thanks for all of you guys!!
