How to read ohm tester to check knock sensor

Can someone tell me how to read my ohm reader? I got a cheap one from Advance Auto Parts but I am not really sure how to read it. I am wanting to test my knock sensor. In the haynes manual it says to test the KS at least 10 M-ohms. What is that?
Can the tester I have do this? On my tester,on the ohm section, the settings say(clockwise)200,2000,20k,200k,2000k. Can I test my KS with any of these settings?

Unplug the K/S wiring harness. (leave the K/S installed)

Set your DMM to measure 0-20 VOLTS.

Put the positive lead on the feedback wire terminal coming from the sensor & put the black lead on a good ground.

A properly functioning Knock Sensor should be putting out 2-3 volts from the "hot" wire (I think it was white or green) with the engine running.

If the reading is significantly higher or lower than 2-3v, your knock sensor may need to be replaced.

PS: Ohms are a measure of resistance in an electrical circuit. A check for voltage in this case may be a better bet to determine if your K/S is ok.
