I finally got the PR CAI installed today. I met up with Keith(Sinewave) and Matt(Mardigrasmax)today. Matt got his UDP installed today as well. Matt, tell me how it felt; any noticeable differences? Thanks to Keith for helping me with the CAI. And Matt for helping me out with my little battery problem. Installing the CAI seem quite easy with Keith helping me out. I bet I would screw up if it was up to myself. Just ask Keith and Matt, one look at my engine bay you can tell I screwed up a few things. Oh well, that's the price you pay for trying to do stuff yourself. haha...anyway, I definitely felt a difference with the CAI. And that sound...it's addicting! It's quite loud with my universal exhaust though. Just imagine if I get a Y-pipe too, which I will when I get the funds to do so. Oh, my check engine light did came on for awhile, but Matt helped me by just resetting it. After that, no more check engine light. I heard that a few people had that problems when they installed the CAI. So, just try resetting it. Oh, this is my first performance upgrade. All the stuff I have so for are just basically cosmetic and for handling. WOOHOO!

Give your self some credit, your car is nice!!!

Awe yea the UDP its like, awesome power!!! I realy dont notice it. But, my car pulls pretty well anyways. In the world of automotive performance, every little bit helps! Thanks to Kieth for showing me an easy way to get the crank pully bolt loose. You have some one hold a socket with a long breaker bar that touches the ground on the bolt while you bump the starter. The force of the starter pushes the breaker bar onto the ground and then the bolt gives! It worked like a charm! And we got it tightend to 150ftlbs when we put it back together, herculees! herculees! Thanks Keith

Fun Fun Fun (my knuckles hurt)

You guys are the ones that did all of the work, hell all I did was make a pot of coffee and drag out some tools. It was a lot of fun having some company under the hood, it's certainly not my wife's idea of quality time.

I do appreciate the advice on the gauge cluster, it would have taken even longer for this old southern boy without it.

Now if I can get you guys to go out to the autocross tomorrow....

Well, not everyone here is rich as you Doug. So, it took me awhile to get the money to buy the CAI. I'm a poor college student, what do you expect.

Overall, I had a lot of fun. I really didn't do much. Just taking the battery out, and tightening/loosening a few screws weren't exactly hard to do.

Keith and Matt, we should do this again. And next time, we better give Carlos a call. Carlos, if you're reading this, a thousand apologies for not calling you out too.

Matt, you know I never rode in your car with your NOS on? The next time you go out to look for some "victims", give me a holla, I want to ride with you, and see the looks on their faces when you cream them.

Keith, I don't think I can make it to the autocross today. I almost forgot that we're celebrating my sister's birthday today. DOH! So, I have to prepare some stuff for tonight. Oh well, I guess there's always a next time. Let me know whenever the next autocross takes place.
