I seem to be having a problem with this. All day my alarm has been going off for no reason at all. I think it might be from the storm, but it went off when there was no snow, so I'm not sure. Is there a way to disable it? Cause when ever I lock my doors, it is activated.

You can lock and unlock your doors with the keys and the alarm won't be in use then....

Ok thanks, but what about locking from the power lock button and closing the door? The red light seems to blink no matter what I do.

Well on mine I haven't had no problems with the alarm...Try locking your doors with the key and shake the car and see if it goes off.Alot of times in the winter I will lock my car with the key in case my door freezes. So when I'm messing with it at least I won't have to listen to that dum alarm........

I thought the only thing that set it off would be unlocking the door without the key or remote, like opening the door from the inside if its locked.

I'm not sure.Probably the best thing to do is to play with it and see what works and what don't work....That is all I know you could do...

I think someone is trying to break into your car. When the alarm goes off, they run away. I would check the bushes the next time it goes off. You may want to bring a weapon...just incase

Or you can catch someone in the backseat and let them run away, and not be able to catch them.

i live in small town, where there is very low crime. I doubt it was being broken into. Plus, why would someone want my 98 max, when my neighbor has a 2k max and a 2k jag?
