Adding an alarm beep

There is a writeup on how to get the alarm to beep whenever you lock your cars over on vqpower.com but the directions are pretty unclear. Anyone have a better diagram and instructions explaining the process? No offense to whoever made the writeup because its a great idea, just a little hard to follow.

if your refering to the factory keyless entry system(not alarm) you would have to buy a DEI model 514N siren ($39 at BestBuy).

does your car have factory keyless entry or an aftermarket alarm?

its not worth the effort nor time, unless u find a buzzer thats louder. i did it to my car and i still have to turn to see my lights turn on because i can barely hear the buzzer. just my 2 cents

I just put in a aftermarket alarm system and programmed my nissan remote to work with my alarm. So I get to keep using my nissan remote and I have a nice alarm.
