Transmission Control Unit..HELP!!!!!

Nissan told me my Transmission Control Unit is bad... it sounds expensive... is it?

If your car is a 99 and it is below 60K miles it should be covered by warranty should it not?

that's a good question what is the Transmission Control Unit????

i got the cel for it a while ago, along with cylinder misfiring. i changed the plugs and it never happened to me again, and i hope it never will.

your car is Auto right?

Yeah, It's covered in warranty, I have 53K on my max.. Thank God for warranties!

I believe it's the computer in charge of telling then transmission when to shift... sounded very expensive when nissan told me that it was dead.

It's not too expensive like $175 ...I got the code last year, did I price search on it. But reset the CEL first and it never came back, it's been over a year.

Well I never got a CEL, it just started screwing up and Nissan told me it was the TCU
