i tried to do the cornerlight mod...but..sadly I couldn't even take out the corner light housing...I unscrewed the top and tried to pull it out but it still feels like there's something holding it in.

am I supposed to just pull out harder or is there actually another screw?

I had the exact same problem. You should spray some wd-40 on the lttle ball and socket thing that is still holding it its low and in the middle of the housing youll see it then try prying it out and also there is a tab where the light meets the fender on the side closest to the door. It is hard but keep prying if you break the ball thing its no big deal
