auto shift?

i only have a few mods, and was wondering if you guys with autos shift manually or let the car shift for you...If manually, what rpm do you shift at? went to the track tonite and before it rained out of 3 runs, 15.6 at 88 was my best...also when i dropped my pressure in the front tires, MPH went down.....any help will be appreciated, thanks!

manualy shifting can take a toll on your trans, i would advise to do it as little as often, like racing and at track, etc........ for me, i am just a bit faster, but i usually shift a bit before redline, when going full throttle.

i can spin the h*ll out of my tires, and i get mad wheel hop as well.

i was gonna say....i have kuhmo 235/45/17 tires and i can fry the hell out of them. all i have is a test pipe, resistor mod and bomz intake...so i guess that time isn't bad for an automatic? seemed like it runs out at red line....i can almost go through traps in 2nd

its not that bad on the tranny, if even bad at all. i wouldnt shift all the time like your driving a manual though.

most of the 5spd people are rather biased when it comes to anything auto.

I think that's the question that should've been asked in the first place. my auto can spin those wheels and i'm stock.

auto shift

sooooo shift at redline or before? i would think to get more mile an hour, you would shift before redline since without a VI horsepower seems to drop off....
