sunroof repair - 95 GLE

sunroof repair - 95 GLE
Has anybody ever removed just the glass portion of the sunroof without removing the entire sunroof assembly?

I need to replace the rubber seal and do a little surface rust repair.

has anybody tried this?

looks like there are nuts under the finisher panels (on the inside of the sunroof). I'll try removing those and see if the glass panel will lift out.
