Knight Rider 3rd Brake light

Does anyone know how to take the spoiler on a 4th gen apart? I want to find out if i can tap into each of the seperate leds in the 3rd brake light and create a knight rider circuit while still maintaining my 3rd brake light. The reason I want to do this is instead of my blinking led light for my alarm I want that output to trigger the circuit and make my 3rd brake light do the knight rider effect. I have a technical degree in electronics and it does seem feasable but before I go design the circuit I just want to know if the led's are seperately accessible. I might just post a write-up if I get it to work for all you knight rider fans out there.

Nice Trans Am. They actually sell a kit for that one that does the circuit in the grill.

Its a Trans Am. . lol but yea, you can purchase all kinds of stuff to make a Replica Knight Rider.

I'm not sure how hard it would be to wire the 3rd brake light to do that but I think it'd be very very cool. good luck to ya.
