NO!!! turn caps lock off... its extremely annoying. The bulb is made to handle the amount of power you are putting through it.

what do you mean by cutting the nub?I read somewhere in here all you have to do to make them brighter was flip them upside down?Im pretty sure I read it in here or somewhere in the web..Anyways I havent done this yet so Im not sure if you just flip or cut?

But don't you have to stand on your head before flipping them upside down.

Some people have reported that their fuse HAS blown after switching bulb around to the 27W side. If it happens to you, you likely have a corroded or loose bulb/connnection somewhere in the circuit. Just use a 10 amp if other fuse blows. No harm will come to your harness from the slightly larger fuse. Long story.
But, if a 10 amp fuse blows, you've got a problem, somewhere. You'd better check all bulbs and sockets in circuit.

Cut or grind off the proper nub, bend in the top of the bulb socket slightly on missing nub side so bulb will be tight, install bulb. Done deal.

Removing lens can be difficult. It's in pretty tight. Spray around rubber seal on outside edge of lens with Armorall to make it slip out just a little easier.

No Fuse Will Be Needed For That Customization.
