Oh, I know what that is......

GARBAGE! It is supposed to be a turbine impeller that goes before your MAF meter and it swirls the air for better performance. It has been proven to not make any hp gains in mags. This is a total waste of money mod, don't bother wasting time or money on it.

BTW you are probably making over 170hp and ft-lbs of torque at the wheels with all those mods you have on there.

thnx for the suggestion....
and you said my garbage is waste of money...
well, i am also not sure if it makes hp...
but if you go to the web site, and read "user saying" section....
there is real dyno chart and most cars with my garbage gained some hp....
you think they lie to people?
well, i have nothing to say if you say they do...
but i noticed my engine rev before and after....
when i hit 4000, it just pulls the needle to 6500 within a second....
i really noticed it...
i don't think it is not working from 0-4000 rpm, but it works greatly over 4000 rpm.....
you gotta check it out...

I had my first dyno done last month and it came out to 171 HP & 183 TQ. There is a wide variation of readings from other dyno machines.

Too bad you couldn't have done a before and after dyno to see what gains you really get with the "turbo" set-up.

98 SE
5 Speed
CAI
Y Pipe
RT cat
Mid Pipe
Stock Muffler

14.73 @94.1

thnx for your respond....
i guess you are very interested in performance....
all your mods are for performance....
well, is it real that you ran out 1/4 mile at 14.73 sec.?
since i got almost same as your mods for performance, you think my car run around your number?
well, i got greedy sp muffler, and aluminum flywheel, i guess i make 10 more hp than yours....
so could my car run out 1/4 mile at 14.6 sec.?
have you ever measure 0-60 time?
please let me know asap...
thnx in advance

Sounds like you have just about every performance mod on your ride. My first trip to the track back in October, it was on the humid side and the best I would run was 15.1. I also had a half a tank of gas. When I went back last month it was cooler and much less humid (also 1/4 tank of gas)and that's when I got it down to 14.73. I'm going back this weekend to see if I can still run that time since I just went back to the stock muffler (aftermarket muffler was just too loud!).
As far as you being able to duplicate those times it depends on your driving. the launch is the most difficult thing and it takes practice to get the power to the pavement. Your performance clutch should help you out too.
Where do you live and when do you plan to vist the track?

Also, the track we go to doesn't time 0-60 but I would "guess", she'll run to 60 in about 6.5 secs?

Not much is going on.

Just trying to get thing fixed back up since that run in with the deer so so long ago. Working on getting sponsored so I can do some serious drag racing and testing with my Maxima. I hope things work out. How are you and your Maxima doing?

Not trying to down you about this.

Sorry man, don't take this personally you didn't make the product. Where is their website? I don't want to say that they fudged the numbers, but from what I read in Sport Compact Car they dyno tested it and track tested it and showed that it didn't make any power gains. They said that the turbine swirling the air didn't have any performance gains or benefits and this was just a gimmick.

Maybe SCC was wrong but I would like to see this thing personally track tested. Maybe it works maybe it doesn't. Who knows.
