Wheel Question

Hi
I just bought my 1996 Max. it has the stock wheels, with 215/60-15 tires. would it mess anything up, for example the speedometer if i put on my 17 wheels with 235/45-17 tires? also, i am going to get a new air filter, is the frankencar for 145.00 the way to go?
thanks

Nope. That's what I have - the size you indicated has almost exactly the same overall diameter as the OEM tire, so it shouldn't have any adverse effect on your odo/speedo.

If you go to www.tirerack.com, there's an Overall Diameter reference for every tire they sell under "Specifics" or something like that after you select a tire you want to look at.

Yep, Frankencar is the way to go. There is a group deal going on in the GD forums right now so if you hurry you might make it.

Well, I suggest a cone filter feeding a snail that is driven by exhaust gas or the engine itself with the result of ramming more air into the intake manifold.
