Intake question

Usually people get an intake that places it behind their battery or into that fenderwell.` Has anyone shifted their battery 90 degrees, and also moved their intake 45 degrees and placed it facing into the radiator next to the battery? This might mean cutting/splicing a few wires, but I would think that the air would be better, cooler and actually flowing more into the intake?

Also, has anyone tried putting their MAF before the midpipe?

Would this affect anything?

( just brainstorming)

thanks

more effective method rather than trying to get hot air through the radiator

nah even if that does happen, Im more worried about scratching the paint on the bumper rather than having something stuck up there

you should put a fine screen in front of the openning to block big debris from entering the hole.
