I am about to need new rear brake pads. I have Porterfields up front and was wondering if it was worth it to get them for the rear also. I have heard that it is just as good to get the OEM pads for the rear since they don't do much braking. The OEM pads are also supposed to be quiet. Is that correct? Also, doesn't the dealer sell 2 kinds of pads? Which is the better set? Thanks.

 

There are 2 sets sold by the dealer OEm and "Key Value."

Avoid Key Value like the plague. No matter what the parts guy tries to tell you, they suck...big time.
