New Carbon Fiber Engine Cover **Pics**

We just approved our samples of our new 95-99 Maxima Carbon Fiber Engine cover. It replaces the factory plastic plate and is made out of real carbon fiber with two layers of clearcoat on top. Pricing still needs to be determined, but I can tell you that I made sure that we will only have this piece made if we can offer it at a decent price. More pics coming soon. Expect to have it for sale on our site in 30-45 days.

Thanks to Jeremiah for letting us prototype it on your car. You will receive the final product for free as reimbursement.

More new products coming soon......

Thanks,
Greg

This is another quality product from Custommaxima.com. The engineer working on the valve cover was very conscientious as to getting a precise fit for our cars. I can't wait to see the final product!

Seriously, I can't wait till some come out. Considering they will look good (ie BMW, 2k2 Max style) they will sell like hot cakes. I'll definatally be down for a set.

It doesn't look real to me, there is no depth/shine to it......and it looks like it's made of small patches not one whole piece.

Is everything Carbon Fiber black/grey? Or will there be more colors to choose from. Sorry not to familiar with CF. All I know is that is lighter and maybe cooler, temperture wise that is. Please enlighten me.

good job
just wanted to know, is it gonna say nissan on it like the stock one with the V6 and 24 valve stuff. Or will it say custom maxima on it or whatever. Perhaps mabey 2 types, one clean one with no writing and one that has writing on it, i remember seeing a cf hood where an aluminum logo was placed on the cf and was layered in the clear coat, looked awsome. just an idea...

You can get it made in any color pretty much. They just have to use different colored weaves. Ie, the carbon dash kits I have made come in about 15 different colors, different colored carbon fabrics are used. The colored stuff is actually kevlar I think.

So it can be done, but probably not for this engine cover because it's not going to be cheap to do colors. They already ahve colored carbon fiber hoods available from some companies.

Good Idea Jeff, I will look into getting it in colors. I do know that our carbon fiber hoods are available in different colors.

The above image is a computer generated image, because we do not have a final product to show yet. But as soon as we do I will post pics. 30-45 days is a safe estimate for you too. More new products coming soon...

You gotta make those c/f engine covers for the 5th gen!!!! I'd buy it in a heart beat!!!!

Hey custom Maxima, You should make chrome lettering to go with those covers. Have the same words like on the original but have the letters in chrome. That I would like.

As for color - you can always paint it.

There probably isn't enough demand yet, but a cF copy of the MEVI cover would be SUPER sweet with the cf valve cover.
