it's done. it was real simple. I did that along with my fuel filter.
Car runs so much smoother now. esp. at idle.

anything else you would do to a 160K engine? I am installing my Y pipe tuesday, then my Brembo rotors and new pads by the end of the week. then sprints and AGX'x within the next couple weeks. I am trying to get my car in top shape. She has to last me a while. I have also found a '97 engine with 1K miles on it for a very good price. Thinking about grabin that.

dont think its nessasary just make sure you have done all of the 60k tuneup and keep up on the maintenance and it will last for a long time

How easy is it to remove this? Haynes describes it as "grasp and remove" but I can't get a good grip with my hands.

i used a pare of needle nose pliers and alot of pull.. it took a bit of pulling and you will never get it off with just fingers..
