Help - Weird sounds when turning (with Wilwood brakes)

hi ian Help - Weird sounds when turning (with Wilwood brakes)
My car has been making weird sounds (a sort of grinding, schreeching, eeeking sound) the last few months when turning at slow speeds (mainly turning right), like going around the circular roundabout things in residential roads. I have 12.2" Wilwood brakes on a 18x8 Konig Tantrums. I used a cheapo universal 5mm spacer before, but my brake shop told me this week that I didn't need the spacers, so I took them out. There was noises before, and there are noises now... I couldn't reproduce the sound when I was test driving it at the brake shop. The brake shop said that since the Wilwoods are not a floating caliper setup, that grinding noises are common with this type of setup. However, the grinding noises are not dangerous and nothing else was wrong with my setup. They also applied anti-squeal compound to all of my calipers and found no sign of grinding or any wear from this grinding noise I hear. I trust their work, as they are well known and reputable for a long time here in the Seattle area.
I'm gonna be bringing it in next Wednesday and hopefully reproduce the weird noise for them.
Any ideas on what I can do in the meantime? Would a better brand spacer (like from H&R) be better? Or perhaps try 15mm spacers? Any ideas appreciated (couldn't find anything similar to my problem in search)...

Have you changed pads yet?
If you've pushed the pistons back in without cleaning them, the pistons will stick and keep the pads on the rotor during turns... that's the noise.
You can try to slightly loosen the bridge pins, temporarily. It should help.
