Has anyone here installed a set of either intake or exhaust performance camshafts? I saw them somewhere but I cannot remember where it was at. Any info would be appreciated. TYIA.

 

Where have you seen bump sticks for the VQ30DE? I don't remember seeing any.

 

- I'm sure you know that everyone is expecting Jim Wolf Technologies to be manufacturing some cams for us sometime this year. I e-mailed them and got no response back - Punks! Perhaps they are just tired of hearing the same question.
- Let's hope they make 'em soon. I'm debating Supercharging versus Naturally Aspirated - or both. Do you think that I could get away with both safely?

 

If you mean cams and supercharger, I don't think it is very safe. If you want aftermarket cams with a supercharger, you need to have them redone and the specs for that would mean going fully custom. This is how it is to my understanding, someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

 

The thing that comes to my mind is an exhaust that can support the amount of airflow needed for that. Probably more to it than just that but that,s off the top of my head.

 

When I physically went over to JWT and purchased my Pop Charger in November, I asked them about cams for our venerable VQ. In a nutshell, what they said was that they do all their product development in the winter, and that they should be available by february/march.
But we all know they're full of crap

 

Cams would be nice.......but pricey I'm sure.....
