I know someone was developing them, but I forget who.

As far as I know, they don't exist....yet.

as of the moment, no headers are out, which prove to have a gain worth paying for...keep your eyes peeled tho

I remember Cattman too, but it kind of...quiteted down. You know they're gonna be mad expensive! I'm thinking around $500+

From what I remember from the past is that headers won't really help out all that much.

From what I heard, someone has a custom set of headers made by some company in New Zealand, and they didn't show any gains. But this was because of unequal piping lengths and bad design in general.

Cattman's were supposed to be much better....

But you're right..the talk about it just faded out...

Emax95 was the person that tested them out.

The headers "would" run to the cat (if they are ever released). So they would replace your y-pipe as well.

There are two types of headers as far as I know, Shorty headers, and Longtube headers. Shorty headers are just the top part of the headers, above the y-pipe while Longtube headers is the shorty and downpipe (ypipe) combined. Cattman's making a "longtube" version, which replaces everything. Gains will probubly be a few HP over the Y-pipe alone, and could be a few more for boosted cars.

I know Cattman commented on how awesome the engine sounds with his headers on there, and if Cattman comments on something like how they sound, it must be pretty sweet. Will probubly give an exotic tone to the engine.

I think that making shorty headers would be a better idea IMO. Since many people already have a Y-pipe they are probely not going to want to pay for something they dont really need. Plus their old Y-pipe becomes useless.

Shorty Headers are what Emax had. They didn't work well at all. For some reason the gains are supposed to be better with the long ones. Equal tubing ect ect??
