Wheels

Ok, I know most auto parts stores and junkyard dogs are morons, but they seem to claim that from 95 to 99 Maximas, the Rims are different in bolt offsets and such. Are they as dumb as I think they are? Or am I wrong? Should I be able to take the rims off any 4th gen Max and put it on any other 4th gen Max? or what?
