Hey everyone. I recently installed a budget y-pipe, custom b-pipe, and the Stillen muffler. Sometimes it will hit against the under side of the car on rougher surfaces. When I take a look down there to check it out, the whole exhaust assembly moves around pretty freely. The stock system did the same thing to a certain extent. Is this a problem with our exhaust systems or is there any sort of fix, like stiffer exhaust hangers, or adding exhaust hangers? Has anyone done anything to remedy this?

buy new exhaust cushions...yours may be worn...those are available at nearly all auto parts store...I would try as well reomving the cross member just around the resonator...that is a popular thing for exhaust rattles.

i think mine rattles against the rear sway bar. i'm gonna try to adjust the brackets this week and move them a lil to see if that helps. does anyone have that problem?

yeah, I don't think it is the cross member by the resonator... I know what you are talking about though. I will try new exhaust cushions to see if that does the trick. Thanks!
