Gasket part numbers not recognized???

I called Nissan to order 3 gaskets for my MEVI install and they do not recognize 2 of those part numbers. Can someone please help me out here?

I have:
14032-38U00 - thick rubber gasket that goes between the bottom of the MEVI and the block (sorry, I don't know the technical terms)

I need:
14033 - 38U00 (does on top of the MEVI butterfly valves so the cover can go on top of that - thin metal gasket?)
14120 - 38U02 EGR gasket
Those 2 gaskets Nissan said that they did not recognize... what are the correct part numbers? Is Nissan USA different from Nissan Canada?

16175 - 31U01 Throttle body gasket (this they have in stock for like $5)

Why didn't you get this with the VI in the first place? You'll have to get that from Japan since it doesn't exist here.
14120 - 38U02 EGR gasket
Just ask for an EGR gasket and forget telling them the part #, since you're probably giving them the part # from Japan.

Is there any way to get it? I bought the kit off JAY25 and he said that he taped the gasket to the side of one of the smaller boxes. I took all the parts out and trashed the boxes. I didn't see any gaskets taped, but I might have missed it. Please don't tell me that I have to wait 3 months just for a gasket... can anyone help me out here?

Sorry to be the one to tell you, but unless you find the gasket or decide to just use a sealant of some sort for the time being (which I wouldn't reccommend) you won't be able to use the VI. If you're lucky you may be able to order a gasket only from Courtesy, but they may only be selling full kits (VIs) and not individual parts.

Is Nissan Japan the only place that these gaskets can be ordered?

Can the US valve cover gasket be used in place of 14033-38U00?

Thanks.

The top plenum gasket yes.

Probably since the runners are the same at the base.

I think there's a bit of a confusion here. Is the "top plenum gasket" the skinny metal one? The one at the base is a thick rubber one (14032-38U00) which I already have. I am referring to the top skinny metal gasket that has the 9 bolt holes around the edges (14033-38U00).

Am I missing something here?

After looking at my parts list and the diagram the numbers don't seem to match up (I haven't looked at the part #s in a long time anyway). Give me the part # from this picture http://www.vanillaice.com/webmasters...c/diagram1.jpg

The metal gasket that is for the top plenum on the VI is a Japan only part. The gasket between the lower intake and the upper intake manifold should be the same as the US gasket.

Hmm weird... the bottom one is called 14035, but mine is 14032. Which makes me wonder what's up with the top one being called 14010 (JAY25 is ordering me a 14033 as it says on this parts list: http://www.cyberhub.net/manifold/ which is the top plenum one that is made of thin metal)
