seized front calipers?

the other day i rotated my tires and in doing so i noticed that my front wheels were pretty hard to spin freely while up on the lift. i spun them pretty hard and only got a 3/4 turn. is that normal or are the calipers locking up. and is there any way to adjust them so they are not so tight on rotor? and, the back ones spin much more freely than the front.
and my brakes feel relitively normal... just a little spongey, but still stop very well.

Your front wheels also spin your differential. They don't free spin like the rear does.
